Laurel Hill
Laurel Hill writes slow-burn fantasy romance about broken people, impossible odds, and the stubborn belief that no one should be left alone in the dark.
She is the author of the Emberbound series — a six-book romantasy of fire and shadow, murdered gods and gutter thieves, and the hard-won ordinary happiness on the far side of a war.
When she isn't plotting impossible romances or crafting morally gray characters, she can usually be found with a cup of coffee, surrounded by stacks of romance novels, dreaming up her next romantasy.

Al H. Dell
Al H. Dell is a fantasy author and K–8 school teacher who believes the greatest stories awaken imagination, cultivate courage, and inspire a lifelong love of reading. Influenced by the epic world-building of Brandon Mull and Brandon Sanderson, she crafts immersive fantasies filled with ancient magic, unforgettable heroes, impossible choices, and the enduring hope that even ordinary people can change the fate of a world.
She is the creator of The Riven Lands of Vael, a sweeping fantasy world built around one unshakable truth:
"All power is a bond. All love is a debt. Both will burn you."
Within the world of Vael, Al has written three interconnected series: A Crown of Thorns and Ash, Emberwing, and The Wolf and the Winter Crown. Additional series are already in development, each exploring new kingdoms, legends, and generations of heroes whose stories intertwine across the same richly imagined world.
When she isn't writing or teaching, Al enjoys sharing her passion for fantasy literature with young readers, encouraging reluctant readers to discover the magic hidden within the pages of a good book. She believes every great adventure begins with imagination and that the best fantasy stories stay with us long after the final page is turned.
